Turner sits in the hills southeast of Salem, close enough to I-5 to be a commute and far enough up the road to feel like acreage. This 1975 A-frame holds the end of a cul-de-sac there, with vineyard rows in the middle distance.

It is a large example of the type. Shake roof planes run from the ridge to the ground on both flanks, a glazed gable climbs to the peak, and a river-stone chimney rises the full height of one side. The volume — 2,728 square feet, three bedrooms, three baths — comes from carrying the roof a long way and building a lower level in underneath it.

Inside: cedar to the ridge, a stone fireplace, granite and a farmhouse sink, skylights cut into the rake. Outside: a wrap-around deck, a pond, and three outbuildings including a finished 768-square-foot shop the listing floats as a possible ADU.

At $899,900 it prices at $330 a foot against an $866,800 Zestimate. Taxes ran $5,071. No HOA, well and septic, and no cooling on record. It sold for $479,000 in 2018.

One discrepancy worth pinning down: Zillow records the lot at 1.8 acres, while the agent's text says 1.98. And the seller is a licensed Oregon broker, disclosed in the listing.
